About me - Ashley Smith

I am a qualified counsellor and a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy working  within the code of ethics as  laid down by the BACP.

I always work in the best way to suit you ensuring openess, honesty and transparent.  As part of the BACP’s guidelines for ongoing professional development, I undergo regular supervision.

Examples of the therapies I use in an integrated way are:
  • Person-Centred
  • Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT)
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
  • Gestalt
  • Psychodynamic
  • Transactional Analysis (TA)

I work on a one to one basis offering telephone and online therapy.  I can also offer home visits should this be necessary.
